Beth Phoenix & Jillian def. Women’s Champion Melina & Kelly Kelly
As her beau, Santino Marella, watched from the announcer’s table, Beth Phoenix had an opportunity to win back some of her pride, if not the Women’s Title, when she and Jillian took on the team of Kelly Kelly & new Women’s Champion Melina, who won the gold from The Glamazon the night before at the Royal Rumble. As the Divas squared off in the ring, Phoenix’s No. 1 crazed fan,
Rosa Mendes again made her presence known by pulling Melina off the ring apron. Mendes’ involvement gave Phoenix just the opening she needed to pin Kelly Kelly and win the match.
Later, in the locker room area,
Rosa Mendes was all aflutter talking to Santino Marella about her involvement in the tag bout. The two were interrupted by Beth Phoenix herself, who told the Italian Superstar that they could “keep” the enthusiastic Mendes, who had been angling for a position assisting her favorite dominant Diva.

Shortly after her match against Kelly Kelly, Beth is quickly congratulated by Santino backstage telling her he has a surprise. Beth’s excitement is quickly shot when she sees
Rosa Mendes walk up to them. Santino announces that since
Rosa is banned as a fan from the shows, he would like to hire
Rosa as an intern for the Glamazon. Rosa expresses how it is her dream to become a WWE Diva and it would be an honor to learn from the best. Beth is reluctant with the idea and tells the both of them that she will think about it and walks off. Santino has plans otherwise as he goes on to tell Rosa what she can do to impress The Glamazon.
Later in the show, Jillian Hall is set to face Melina in a one on one match. Glamarella along with
Rosa walk down the ramp to spectate the match. When Melina picks up the win, she soon walks over and looks down at the trio outside of the ring. With a signal from Santino,
Rosa speeds her way into the ring and attacks Melina in an attempt to impress Beth. However, the plan backfires as Beth immediately enters the ring, pushes Rosa away and handles Melina herself, giving her the Glam Slam and making it perfectly clear that she doesn’t need help from anyone to beat her at Royal Rumble. With that, Beth collects her Title and Slammy Award and storms off up the ramp heading backstage leaving a confused Rosa and Santino behind.

Beth Phoenix and Jillian Hall vs. Kelly Kelly and Melina
Melina & Kelly Kelly vs. Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix & Jillian ended in a no contest after
Rosa Mendes’ attack on Melina
Prior to her match, Melina was attacked before she could even make it to the ring to join her partner, Kelly Kelly. WWE Champion Beth Phoenix’s crazed No. 1 fan,
Rosa Mendes, had disguised herself as one of Melina’s paparazzi, and assaulted the red-carpet Diva on the entrance ramp. Kelly Kelly went to assist her tag partner as security escorted
Mendes (who had been banned by Stephanie McMahon one week prior) out of the arena, but The Glamazon & Jillian took advantage of the situation to attack Phoenix’s Royal Rumble opponent Melina as well as Kelly.

Goldust and Melina vs. Beth Phoenix and Santino Marella
Goldust is in the ring waiting as Lilian does the introductions. Out comes Melina with her red carpet entrance. Melina spots
Rosa in the crowd and waves at her. Out next is Santino Marella and WWE Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix.
Beth and Melina start the match off first while
Rosa sits at ringside. They lock up and Beth gets the upperhand first, sending her to the mat. Melina fights back out of a hold with right hands but Beth just drops her again. Beth lifts Melina and drops her after Santino tags himself in. Santino grabs Melina’s arm but she slaps him. Goldust is tagged in and bumps Santino. A big slap then arm drag by Goldust. Goldust drops big knees on Santino and takes him back to his feet.
Santino counters Goldust and takes him to the mat for a 2 count. Santino puts a headlock on Goldust but gets hit with the old school right hand. Clothesline by Goldust. He blows a kiss at Beth, drops Santino again and gets a 2 count. Melina and Beth are tagged back in. Beth rams Melina in the corner. Melina goes to the top and slams Beth’s face into the mat with a pretty cool looking move. Melina gets the pinfall on Beth for the win.
Winners: Melina and Goldust
After the match,
Rosa throws a sign at Melina and hops the rail. They brawl until security breaks it up and takes
Rosa through the crowd. Goldust and Melina head to the back with their hands in the air.
Later, we cut to Stephanie McMahon, Santino Marella and Beth Phoenix backstage. Steph says
Rosa Mendes is banned from WWE events. Beth accepts it but Santino doesn’t like it and says she is obsessed with him. Beth thanks Stephanie and walks off with Santino’s head in her grasp.

Tonight on Raw with
Rosa Mendes once again in the crowd, the WWE Divas participated in a Race to the Rumble Diva Battle Royal to determine the #1 contender to face Beth Phoenix for the Women’s Championship Title at Royal Rumble. In the end Raw Diva Melina was victorious, with Beth quickly joining her in the ring for a stand off. Beth slapped Melina and rolled her out of the ring towards the commentary table where Melina picked up the advantage and started attacking Beth. To our surprise,
Rosa jumped out of the crowd and ran to push Melina in order to help Beth, but only resulted in security dragging
Rosa out of the arena.
